Oh sorry Scamp! I think you're right that it is vague. What I mean is for you to just pick a card AS IF The High Priestess is your reader and has something to reveal to you.....an oracle...an augury. The card you pull will tell you what SHE has to tell you at this time....like she's telling you a secret ;)

I posted the Fenestra Tarot's High Priestess. I love the way her confidence is draped in casualness. She is beauty, poise, grace, and mystery. Unlike the RWS High Priestess, she looks very comfortable and elegant. She has the beauty, poise, and grace of a dancer; the style, mystery, and ethereal air of an artist. I adore Fenestra's High Priestess.
Hi Val:
Thanks so much for explaining that, I had posted my High Priestess from the Steele Wizard Tarot
with the number one question but then when I seen it on number 4 I thought it wanted me to
do something else, again thank you for taking the time to explain, I did post it so it's covered - I
will go and see where to post why it is my favorite
It is my favorite because it has her coming out of the water as she reaches up to the moon with
a Unicorn in the distance - the nearby mountains look like ice - I find such mystery in this card, a
totally unique High Priestess Card as many of the cards in this deck are
Have a lovely week

My High Priestess is from the Farber/Zerner Tarot. I find her very mysterious but not at all unapproachable. Although she is surrounded by mystery I could picture me walking up to her and saying "hey, got a minute" then sit and chat for a while. She never reveals all but allows me to explore all I want. This particular High Priestess has been with me from my first step. She has long since been put away to a very special place, but she is always in my heart and I know where to find her when I need her most - and she always comes...Celeste
Hi Celeste:
WoW, I love your choice of the High Priestess - I have this deck and having too many I never really
look at the cards until like this someone posts one and I realize I really have to take some time and
explore the decks especially this one - again so beautiful
Have a great week

1. One of my very favorite HP cards is from Nigel Jackson's Tarot. I also adore Jackson's Fortuna's HP that Igraine posted. It's interesting too to compare their similarities and differences. Why do I like Jackson's HP's? I think for the luscious pastel colors. They are both etheral and luminous at thie same time. There is also a serenity and inner wisdom that I associate with the HP. Then, there are all of those alluring details like the peacock and spilling robes. I also love the medieval/renaissance vibe.
3. The HP and the Empress are the female archtypes. To me, the HP is the center of a still pond in the middle of the woods. She is insight, intuition, wisdom, and fearlessness. The Empress embodies generousity, compassion, fertility, and groundedness. Like the HP, she is also fearless.
4. My High Priestess Oracle frrom the Nigel Jackson Tarot: EEEEEK! THe Devil!! LOL!
HP ORACLE: "Beware of inner passions lest they break your heart!"
There must be a very special message for you from The Devil. Rememeber you drew him for "What do I really need to look at right now?" in our Summer School class? AND you drew The Lovers from Templar for your card to explore with that deck. They are partners. Wasn't it The Lovers? Hmmmmm.....no Minor Arcana for you!!!!
Yes, that's right! And he's STILL torturing me! LOL! Won't leave me alone until I finally fess up to what lies within/below. I think it's time for me to try some deep journeying or meditating with him--then maybe he'll leave me alone!
