Gail, I was thinking of you the other day as I was wandering through the Philadelphia Museum of Art touring a quilt exhibit of the quilts from Gee's Bend. Ever heard of this exhibit? These quilts were created between the early 1900's up to the present by the old slave descendants in an area down south called Gee's Bend. They created their own style and made their amazing quilts out of whatever scraps they could find. It was quite an inspiration. I imagine it's quilting time for you as the weather cools!
