*sigh* I know my birth number = 7 because 03 +29 + 1982 = 2014 = 7 and 3 +2 +9+1+9+8+2 = 34 = 7.
None of the names I hear in my dreams fit my birth number.
'Cherry Liana' is the strongest but it doesn't sound right. I have a feeling it could be Welsh. Then again my imagination could be working overtime.
Help!

This is my reading using Igraine's 12 card (really 13) year spread. After years of only reading upright cards I have decided to start reading reversals. I have chosen the problem area/obstacle interpretation for reversals. Court cards are the weakest area in my tarot skill set.
As such, can you read this and offer your thoughts on my interpretations.

Question: What do I need ro know about the coming year?

I'm having trouble uploading spreads to the exchange. Everytime I try to upload a spread I get the following error message:
Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Horizons\Spreads\mother-maiden-crone.xml' is denied.
I'm running Vista 32bit SP1 with UAC enabled. T\his is a known problem and I've posted on the appropriate thread in the forums but heard nothing back.
Have any of you found a way around this problem?

I'm currently writing a book of my own tarot spreads that use tarot itself for inspiration.
I originally planned to have a sample reading for each spread. However, there will be at least 80 spreads. Doing a sample reading is going to drain me. There's one spread with twenty one cards. Actually, its the writing up rather than the readings themselves.
I thought of doing an accompanying audiobook with examples of using each spread. Is this is a viable option, or is typing up the way to go? ie to…

Especially when coming up with questions for tarot and spread positions. Take my Mother Maiden Crone Spread. I'm starting to put a book together of the tarot spreads I've recently created. Think of it as an offshoot of the other book I'm writing.
I'm doing the page for the Mother Maiden Crone spread taking a look at the positions:
1. MAIDEN - Where is my greatest potential?
2. MOTHER - What/Who will I nurture?
3. CRONE - What wisdom will I learn?
This spread was an offshoot of my Wheel of the…

I may disappear for a while. Mum and I are taking my new laptop back to where we bought it, as it has a fault.. Depending what they decide to do will determine the length of my absence.
*snuggles to you all, especially those who have lost loved ones. *smooches*
Shari I will get your TT reading to you as soon as I can. Could you email me a copy of mine please, as well as post to TFL

I have a sneaky suspicion that my main character is going to be a tarot reader. I'm not conventional in my approach in that I just lay my cards down on the bed and that's about it.
What other tools do you guys use in your tarot practice? What sights, sounds and smells could I invoke in my writing?
Thanks.
Blessings, Stacey

Hi all, thanks for all your comments. I do indeed have Orphalese. Unfortunately, I do not have internet access at the moment. Therefore that is why I am MIA! I'll be back as soon as I can.

The main reason that this spread is in beta is because I'm not sure whether I've explained the positions well enough, specifically the descriptions given in brackets. The inspiration for this came from page 22 of
Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom where Rachel Pollack discusses these terms, and the fact that I often get mixed vibes from people who tell me they don't believe in tarot.
I think this spread could be useful for getting to the bottom of underlying/unacknowledged assumptions.…

These have been my daily and weekly draws over the past few days:
Weekly - Page of Cups
Monday - King of Cups
Tuesday - King of Wands
Wednesday - Page of Pentacles
Thursday - Queen of Cups
Friday - Knight of Swords
All cards have been drawn from my Llewellyn deck. I know I need to do some exercises with court cards but this is getting ridiculous...
I'm going to make a prediction and say I will get another court card tomorrow!

I missed the instructions on the forum that said this needed to be 3 or 4 cards so I am going to post it here instead!

1. With whom do I have my deepest connection?
2. Who/What do I need to protect?
3. How do I express my sensual side?
4. What is my secret?
5. What am I fertilising?
6. What do I need to nurture?
7. What sh…

For spread layout please refer to
this post.
For this reading I used the 'open reading' method ie reading without a specific question in mind.
Reading:
Three out of the five cards drawn are majors which indicates that there is a lot of energy in my my life right now and Life Lessons needing to be learned. There are two cards govered by air. The rest of the elements have one. Two of these cards…
